The Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT), sponsored by PokerStars.net, will launch Season 2 in February 2010 in Adelaide, Australia. The ANZPT will be a true indicator of the best players in the region, with fabulous added value prizes on offer including PokerStars sponsorship on both the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) and the ANZPT.
Thanks to PokerStars.net freeroll satellites, many poker players travel every year to compete in live events across Europe, the US, Asia Pacific and the Caribbean for free. Brett Parise, winner of the inaugural APPT event in Manila 2008, qualified for free on PokerStars.net to win USD$179,775.
With the launch of the ANZPT, PokerStars is yet again bringing a whole new dimension to poker and helping turn it into a truly global sport.
