ANZPT OVERALL POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP

PokerStars.net is adding fabulous value to the ANZPT with approximately AUD$90,000 in prizes being awarded to the three players who achieve the highest points at all ANZPT events during ANZPT Season 2 in accordance with the ANZPT overall points programme.

Not only will ANZPT players have the opportunity to share in the tournament prize pool – the overall point leaders have the opportunity to become sponsored PokerStars.net players.

The overall points champion will win a PokerStars.net sponsorship to four Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) events and either the Aussie Millions Main Event or the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Main Event! Sponsorship includes Main Event entry, accommodation and return economy airfare from an Asia Pacific destination (or equivalent travel allowance if residing outside this area). Sponsorship will apply to Season 5 APPT Main Events and the Aussie Millions or the PCA  during 2011. This prize is valued at approximately AUD$55,000*.

The overall points runner-up wins sponsorship (Main Event entry, accommodation and return economy airfare from Australia/New Zealand (or equivalent travel allowance if residing outside this area) to five Season 3 ANZPT events. This prize is valued at approximately AUD$25,000.

The overall points third place player will be entitled to receive a combination of Main Event entries and packages (including Main event entry, accommodation and return economy airfare) as determined by PokerStars.net in respect of APPT, ANZPT and other Main Events sponsored by PokerStars.net in the Asia Pacific region which are held in 2011 up to a value not exceeding AUD$10,000.

Terms and conditions apply. In particular, in order to claim a prize the winner:

• must have complied with all terms and condition of participation in ANZPT events;
• will be required to sign a PokerStars.net Sponsored Player Agreement.  (This will require the player to wear clothing that displays PokerStars.net logos exclusively for all tournaments in which the player will participate as a sponsored PokerStars.net player.)

Failure to do so will result in the winner no longer being entitled to claim the prize and the relevant prize will be awarded to the next leading points player.
