ABOUT SYDNEY
The city of Sydney has arguably one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. The autumn climate is a perfect time to come and explore the many foreshore beaches and parks. You can climb the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge or just hope in one of the many ferries and take a cruise of the harbour. The city also has world class restaurants, cafes and a vibrant night life which people of all ages can enjoy. Do not forget to visit one of the city’s famous surf beaches while you are there, you might even catch a wave or two.
GETTING THERE
By air: Sydney's Kingsford Smith International Airport lies just 8km south- west of the city and enjoys connections to dozens of cities worldwide.
From the airport:
Taxis:It costs around AUD $30 to the city centre.
Bus: Airport buses are cheap and readily available.
Train: The train station is at the north end of the International terminal, accessible from the Arrivals Level. Trains leave every 10 minutes for the 13-minute journey to the city centre, at a cost of AUD $14.
