FAQs ABOUT ANZPT QUEENSLAND
ANZPT Queensland will be the first ever major tournament in the state of Queensland! And it will also be the first poker tournament in Australia to ever be hosted in two venues simultaneously.
Note that 100% of the $2,500 buy-in for ANZPT Queensland will go to the prizepool, as no “Tournament Administration Fee” is being charged to players by the host casinos at this year’s event.
Capacity for the ANZPT Queensland is 280 players plus 20 alternates.
Both Day 1s on August 5 and 6, as well as Day 2s on August 7, will be hosted by both Conrad Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast and Conrad Treasury Casino in Brisbane.

On Day 2 the two venues will be in constant contact during play; the same announcements will be made at the same time in both venues; and the clocks will start and stop at exactly the same time.
Each venue will be running in synch with players provided with constant updates on the number remaining. Based on a field of 200+ players, the top 27 will be in the money and play will stop on Day 2 with around 36 players remaining.
All the action moves to Jupiters Gold Coast Casino for the weekend:

All players from Conrad Treasury in Brisbane making it through to Day 3 will be coach driven to Jupiters on the Saturday morning – with the bus leaving at EXACTLY 10AM. Those eliminated on Day 3 can catch the late evening coach back to Treasury Casino, however any Treasury players making it through to the final table will receive complimentary accommodation at Jupiter’s Gold Coast Casino on the Saturday evening.
Play on Day 3 will play down to the final 9 players and there will be redraws with three and two tables remaining.
Sunday August 9 will see play continue until we crown our ANZPT Queensland Champion and finalise the top three in the exciting ANZPT overall points competition.
Q. I've qualified for ANZPT Queensland, where/ how do I find out/check which casino I'm supposed report to before play begins?
A. Your winner’s letter will detail which Casino you will be playing Day 1 and 2.
Q. I'd like to switch venues, is that possible?
A. It is not possible to switch the venues you have qualified to.
